ABOUT

How can I know my children will be equipped for the future? Will they rise strong, and compassionate? Will they use the skiIls I give them? Am I even investing the very best tools and capacities, making the most of my time with them? Am I missing the mark with where and how I spend time, effort and resources?

Do you ever feel like this? If so, I want to invite you into a space of freedom, clarity and focused purpose. Let’s get rid of those nagging fears by getting equipped!

Children and parents will work together to solve a challenge in this practical, hands-on workshop (27 May, 2020 14:30-16:00) Learn to think creatively, and critically, simultaneously! Practice communication skills, problem solving and E.Q. Learn constructive ways to deal with constraints on time and materials, failure, frustration, being 'stuck' and conflict. How to give and receive constructive criticism, to yourself and others, when to take the lead and when to support someone else, are practiced in collaboration with others. These essential skills, and more, are practiced in a safe space where there is room to try different ways as you learn about dynamics that are not helpful to you.

In the follow-up session for parents, (28 May, 2020 14:30-16:00) we are going to take a close look at 3 hard-working, multi-tasking principles that you can invest in your family. We will also identify dynamics that may make it hard for you to implement these life-giving strategies. This will be a hands-on and interactive session.

A list of materials needed to participate in the workshop will be sent to you. These will consist of inexpensive items you probably have on hand at home.
