We have currently raised R152 513 for two women's shelters throughout lockdown. This fund was then used to raise funds for Mr Asanda Ndlebe, a man who saved a woman from being raped and severely injured himself in the process. We raised R37 784 for him.
This fund will now go back to being used for the benefit of the Saartjie Baartman Centre and the Frida Hartley Shelter, two women's shelters that have felt the economic strains of the pandemic. If you are able to, please donate to these women's shelters who are making an important difference in the lives of abused women and children.
