Swimming Basics & Safety Crash Course with Coach Ray
This event is designed for every beginner and each level of confidence.
Together you will learn how water works. We will go through exercises to improve your current confidence level as well as improve your experiences with water.
The goal is to have you water safe should anything happen during the winter season. However its not all serious, secondary goal is to get you comfortable enough to enjoy your holidays/ free time with water.
We will be covering 4 of the 7 Core Aquatic Skills
- Entries & Exits
- Aquatic Breathing
- Balance & Buoyancy
- as well as how to save yourself and what to do to help someone in need.
The pool is a 25m outdoor.
What to bring
- Gentlemen wear board shorts with a costume underneath.
- Ladies one piece costumes and board shorts if you feel uncomfortable.
- No bikinis or Speedos. Please be modest.
- A Towel.
- Clothes to change into
- Goggles (Optional)
