Did you know that South Africa is the third most biologically diverse country? This makes us a magnet for poachers and collectors with international markets being the main drivers of biodiversity crime. Join us as Biodiversity Conservation Enforcement Specialist, Paul Gildenhuys, shares insight into biodiversity crime targets and the effects this crime has on our economy, natural heritage and habitat as well as the sentencing process and recent successes in the area of enforcement.

Cape Union Mart and CapeNature have partnered to bring you talks on the great outdoors and conservation issues. This talk includes light refreshments and discounted shopping at Cape Union Mart PLUS one lucky winner will win a 2 night CapeNature reserve getaway to the newly built Kogelberg Phase 2 accommodation situated between Betty’s Bay and Kleinmond.
