Yes people! Cold Turkey is back alongside CDR and The British Council in a brand new venue and we are ready to bring things back to our roots.
We are extremely proud to announce that the setting for our new venue is Langa. Guga S’thebe to be exact. This venue, where they hosted the great Floating Points recently, boasts some amazing infrastructure for dancing to music in, as well as an auditorium, which we will be utilizing to introduce our new feature, an open mic for spoken word and poetry. This will run for the first 3 hours of every event.
We will also be having a braai area for those wanting to bring food, as well as someone manning the fires so you don’t have to get your hands dirty. A cash bar and food stall will also be on site too. All this and a superbly diverse line up to top things off. We are excited to say the least!
