Digital to Reality - An introduction to 3D Printing

1 and a half day workshop that will take you through the process of designing, setting up a model  and printing on a 3D Printer. The workshop will cover theory on 3d Printing, CAD softwares used, other sites regarding 3D Printing and more. The workshop will also teach the basics of free CAD software Sketchup, modelling a keychain and then preparing the model for print. The prints will then all be printed out the following week.

 

What to Bring:

Bring a laptop, download Sketchup and think of an idea of a keychain to work on.
