Carols by Candlelight

Gather your loved ones for golden hours of music and joy on the historic lawns of Blaauwklippen.

Join us on Sunday, 6 December 2026 at 18h00, for Classical Carols by Candlelight, our annual Winelands tradition of live music beneath the stars.

This year's concert is headlined by baritone and celebrated host Niël Rademan, joined by four of South Africa’s most brilliant sopranos: Zanne Stapelberg, Paulina Malefane, Amanda Osorio and Jo-Nette le Kay. Together with pianist Elna van der Merwe and violinist Johanna Roos, they bring an evening of powerful solos, moving duets and breathtaking ensembles, blending timeless classical pieces with beloved Christmas Favourites.

Our Market will be open until 18h00 or bring your own picnic basket. Settle in on the lawn with a blanket as the sun sets behind our historical Manor House, with vineyards and mountains as your backdrop and snuggle blankets to relax on the lawn as the sun sets over our historic Manor House.
