Join cultural connector and curator Mpumi Mayisa for an immersive day of art, conversation, and connection. Glide Through the Galleries is a guided art walk through a curated selection of Johannesburg’s art spaces - and for this special edition, we’re adding something special.

We’ll begin the morning with an exclusive studio visit to one of South Africa’s most renowned artists — offering you a behind-the-scenes glimpse into their process, inspirations, and practice. From there, we’ll glide through a thoughtfully selected gallery route, deepening our engagement with contemporary visual culture.

This is a full-day experience. As requested by previous gliders, the glide will include an intimate soiree that we'll enjoy while surrounded by art — a warm gathering where we break bread, sip wine, and share conversation with fellow art curious humans, accompanied by good music and even better company.
