THE OTHERWORLD (L'Autre Monde)

Richard Stanley, SA-born esoteric scholar, anthropologist and director of sci-fi cult classic Hardware and Dust Devil visited our Celludroid event in 2011 with a retrospective of his work, including documentaries.  

With his latest documentary work he investigates the mysterious French Pyrenees (where he'd lived for some years).  A place where it is believed the real and paranormal worlds overlap, where magic and reality can be one and the same, where spirits, aliens and new religions transcend myth.  

Two decades of research has led him to this point and we go on a journey with him investigating its locations and people; revealing things of which not many are aware.
