ABOUT
WE LOVE DUB celebrates its first birthday on Saturday, 26 October 2013.
What started out as a four-hour gig has now morphed into a one-day music festival at MiHouse (Selby Village).
The Dub Cousins, a.k.a. Rui Soeiro, bassist from 340ml and Filipe Soeiro also known as Dub Nakave, founded WEheartDUB. The two artists have been in the music industry for several years and have pooled their resources, experiences, talents and networks to build this unique and exciting brand.
Since its inception WEheartDUB, has showcased their line-up of artists across South Africa, Mozambique and Swaziland. Their diverse artist line-up includes EDM, dubstep, reggae, hip-hop, afro-beat, funk, alternative, house and of course, all kinds of dub music.
The one-day festival will feature over 20 acts with two stages running simultaneously, 12 hours of non-stop music. Come and experience the dub culture through music, fashion and food.
