ABOUT

World Wildlife Day 2017 is a day to celebrate the many beautiful and varied forms of wild animals and plants, to raise awareness of the multitude of benefits that wildlife provide to people, as well as the urgent need to step up the fight against wildlife crime, in particular, the role of the youth in this cause. This year the focus is on "Listen to the young voices". Education is key to protect and save our planet.
We would like you to draw what you think wildlife means to you.
Once you have purchased a ticket, please take a high resolution photo of your drawing (with a cell phone is sufficient) and send it to [email protected]
The art work will be judged by the 4 directors of Johannesburg Wildlife NPC.
The prizes are:
6 to 13 year age group: One year subscription to National Geographic Kids Magazine
14 to 18 year age group: One year subscription to National Geographic Magazine.
Both the winners and runners up will each get a specially printed book with all the art work entered into the competition AND will each spend a day with us in our hospital.
END DATE EXTENDED UNTIL 2 MAY 2017
Winners will be anounced by email and telephone on 12 May 2017.
