Centrestage presents the comedy legend Barry Hilton’s new show “Here to Slay!” for two nights in Port Elizabeth at the end of May: on Fri 31st May at the PE Bowling Club in St Georges Park, and Sat 1 June at Old Grey in Lennox Street Glendinningvale.

Get yourself some thigh-slapping, snort-out-loud kinda laughter and have your funny bone tickled by South Africa's favourite family-friendly comedian - a great way to spend an evening out with friends and family. 

Barry has an uncanny knack of finding the humour in everyday situations that everyone can relate to and laugh about. People of all ages and backgrounds have been laughing with Barry for over four decades, and after performing in more than 20 countries and delivering over 6000 gigs, he has become a comedy icon and South Africa’s favourite ‘Cousin’.

His face is as funny as his repartee, with lugubrious looks tailor-made for mirth. Barry’s gregarious personality makes him a people’s person, happy to engage with the audience before and after his shows.

Barry’s six kids, six grandkids, two ex-wives, a new wife, a few dogs, a penchant for fishing and a lifetime of living in a crazy, beautiful country has given him a deep well of laughter-inducing experience.
