About Zolani Mfihlo

Zolani Mfihlo was born in Cape Town and raised in Mfuleni. He began his journey in the arts in 2008, participating in various forms such as dance, music, and drama. Zolani chose JAZZ & SOUL music because it gave him a chance to express himself. His music has a healing power and profound meaning, and he always has a story to tell. On the 16th of May, he will showcase his new EP to the world.

Nkululeko Dyantyi

Meet Nkululeko Dyantyi, an Ancient Afro Soul Singer, poet, and author hailing from the vibrant township of Mfuleni in Cape Town, with roots tracing back to eLinge in Queenstown.

His soul-stirring melodies and poignant lyrics carry the timeless message of Uthando (Love), Ubunye (Unity), and Noxolo (Peace), resonating with audiences far and wide.

In addition to his musical pursuits, Nkululeko is the author of the thought-provoking book titled "See Through Faces," delving into the complexities of human nature and society.

Through his creative endeavors, Nkululeko Dyantyi aims to inspire, uplift, and foster a sense of connection among communities, celebrating the beauty of diversity and the power of collective harmony.

Bumbuntu Presents Initiative

During a guided tour in Khayelitsha, we met Xhosa Hippie, a promising artist, who shared his journey highlighting the challenges he faces in acquiring the necessary resources for his music career. Touched by his story, the Bumbuntu team has decided to rally behind Thulani and other artists and dedicate their efforts to create music nights to help them fundraise for the equipment and resources they need to flourish in the music scene. Bumbuntu is dedicated to providing a platform for emerging artists to showcase their talents, creating a vibrant space where music truly comes to life. Tickets are priced at ZAR150, and 100% of the revenue from ticket sales goes directly to the artists.
