Passion Fruit Saison? Oak barrel aged Stout? Bacon Pale Ale? White IPA? These are just some of the types of beers you can expect to taste from a homebrewer.The annual SouthYeasters Summer Festival is the biggest homebrewers competition in South Africa, with over 50 brewers bringing over 100 beers to taste. The festival has grown from 60 enthusiasts in the Boston Brewery's courtyard to over 900 people last year at SAB Newlands.
Food vendors are on site to satisfy your hunger, and there's plenty beer to be had.
This year for the first time children will be allowed access to the site in a demarcated kiddy friendly area. There will also be shade areas for picnicking.
PLEASE NOTE: NO UNDER 18's ALLOWED IN THE MAIN TENT.
