ATK Fortnite Duo Tournament

Please note that tickets are still available at the door from 9 am on the day of the event.

How It Works:

Details:

• 5 games will be played consisting of a 2 player Duo team.
• One player is required to play from Arena and one has to join via Online.
• You have to be registered with Discord and join our server: https://discord.gg/q6t8VUgf to be able to take part in the Tournament. (Scroll down to the bottom channels and follow the instructions)
• Players listed on the participant tab are eligible to play. If you have not registered on our site you will not be able to enter any tournaments.
• PC & Console only.
• Building allowed custom game per round.
• R10 000 prize pool distributed amongst the top 3 point earners from the Tournament.
• Corsair/Elgato Prizes to be won.
• Checkers TechX Prizes to be won.
• R200 entry fee to the tournament.
• R20 Arena spectator fee.
• Maximum of 80 players (40 Duo's) per game played.
• The first 80 people to sign up online or at the door will be allowed to enter.
• Lan event spectator ticket R20.

• The event starts at 10 am so don't be late!

How to win:

There will be 5 games to be played. The team with the most points at the end of 5 games will win the tournament.

Prize Pool Distribution:

1st: R5000 (R2500/R2500)

2nd: R3000 (R1500/R1500)

3rd: R2000 (R1000/R1000)

Rules:

• No eating or drinking at the stations (No Alcohol).
• No external food or drink allowed into the Arena.
• No vaping or smoking indoors.
• Every ticket holder is responsible for the peripherals at their station.
• Use good judgment.
• Participants to conduct themselves in an orderly manner at all times.
• Clean up after yourselves.
• Respect other people's property.
• You may bring your own peripherals.
• If you play with a controller, you are responsible to bring your own controller.
• If you are caught cheating at the LAN you will be asked to leave.
• No racism will be tolerated.
• Right of admission reserved.

Forfeiting / Missing a game:

• Participants can choose to forfeit a match if they wish. Forfeiting without a reasonable excuse will result in players getting a penalty score deduction in their next tournament

Disqualification:

A player may be disqualified based on the following:-

1. If found teaming with another team, each proof will go on review, and if found Teaming will be Disqualified and Banned from Elite Pro Series for x Amount of Months
2. A team is not cooperating with any of the rules stated and not behaving in a respectable man

NB: We have generators so load shedding will only slightly delay the tournament schedule. Please bring your own controllers AND controller USB cables, we have limited controllers for hire. Feel free to bring your own headsets, keyboards, and mice! We have set all Fortnite settings to performance mode.
