Fusion Sports strive to provide community events that focus on a healthy Lifestyle, family involvement and inspiring people to make a difference in the lives of those in need around them.Our Core belief is healthy individuals, healthy families, healthy homes and healthy communities. Fusion Sports’ Inspiring Lives Initiative therefore creates causes for events and events for causes and provide a platform for Charities to create awareness for their cause and to provide financial relief to the NGO organizations to achieve their goals.

- Cycling Clubs – this is a CSA sanctioned event and a SAS Friendly event
- Individuals - this is a CSA sanctioned event and a SAS Friendly event
- Inter Schools – when you enter and indicate your School or enter as a School you will receive a seeding time and according to that the school with best times will win. We will also create a school ladder on the Fusion Sports website under Schools Ladder so you can see between the schools where you feature.
- Inter Estates – when you enter and indicate your Estate you live in you will automatically be in this category of which points will be allocated to the Estate you participate for. You will also receive a seeding time which will be published on the Fusion Sports website under Estates Ladder so you can see between all the Estates where you feature.

STARTING TIMES
Start times for each distance will be strictly adhered to. Please ensure that you are in the correct starting blocks at least 30 minutes before your starting time. The starting times for the different categories will be announced sooner to the time.
- Trail Run starting time: 06:00
- MTB Starting time: 07:00
(30km to start accordingly)
(10km will start approximately from 07:30)
- Toddlers Starting Time: 08:00
PARKING
There is Limited parking in the Curro School. Other parking surrounding Curro School in open fields. We do have security for the cars. No stopping/parking along the side of the road between start/finish areas. There might possibly be parking inside Serengeti Golf and Wildlife Estate -tbc
TIMEKEEPING
Timekeeping is done by Race Time.
MTB: SAS Friendly event. You can buy a permanent Race Time board @ R60 or You can receive a temporary board from Race Time and will be timed with the temp board. PLEASE NOTE: if you do not hand in your temp board at the finish line you will be held responsible for the missing board fees.
Trail Run: You can buy a permanent Race Time card @ R60 or you can receive a temporary card from Race Time. PLEASE NOTE: if you do not hand in your temp card at the finish line you will be held responsible for the missing card fees.
Ride number
It is important that the official ride number is visible at all times. The number must be placed on the front handles of your bikes. No other boards are allowed to ride with. Please note that an emergency number is visible at the registration.

WHAT TO DO AT THE FINISH LINE
Once you have crossed the finish line, slow down, then you will receive your medal, hand in your temp board/card and move on to the water point. Please note: your temp board will be removed from your bike at the finish line. If you don’t hand in your temp board/card you will be held responsible for the missing board/card fees.
MEDICAL/EMERGENCIES
There will be full medical support on route and a medical facility at the finish line. The contact number for emergencies is:

CUT OF TIME
The final cut-off time for the event is at 12:00 at the finish, where after the Marshalls will withdraw from the route. Cyclists who are unable to make the cut-off time are to complete the route at their own risk.

PRIZE GIVING
The Prize giving will take place inside the School parking area 30 – 60 minutes after the first cyclists have finished and as soon as we receive the results from the Officials and Timekeepers.
PLEASE NOTE: Prizes could be in the form of vouchers and or money.
CHARITY – Fusion Sports Inspiring Lives initiative
The Beneficiary involved with the event is CHOC Childhood Cancer Foundation, www.choc.org.za
Ways you can contribute:
- You can donate R10 or more when you enter the race. You will receive a sticker indicating your support.
- There will be a wish list of items needed by the charity on website. You can bring the items with on the day.
- 5% of your entry fee will be donated towards the Charity.
- The Charity will have a Gazebo at the finish with more information on their cause and to sell some of their merchandise to raise funds.
Other charities will also be there for exposure of their causes.
