Yoga and QiGong Morning Meditation

Join us for a mindful morning at De Waal Park for a combined practice of yoga, qigong and meditation. Giving you everything you need to have the best day possible <3
 
This event will begin with a Yoga session (40 mins) followed by a soothing Qigong class (40 mins) and a closing group meditation.
 
You are also welcome to bring a picknick breakfast afterwards for those who would like to stay and socialise together afterwards.
 
What to bring:
A yoga mat/towel or blanket to practice on
Refreshments and food if you wish to partake in the breakfast
Fresh spring water will be provided
 
Whether you are a begginer or a regular, this event has been designed for all!

ABOUT YOGA:
 
Yoga is a practice that aims to unify us body, mind and soul. It is the practice of self-awareness and self mastery through which we are able to tune into our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual selves to create balance and peace.
 
Yoga allows us to remove and physical, mental, emotional or spiritual blockages or limitation we may be experiencing and in so allows us to continuously elevate ourselves to a higher state of being. The regular practice of yoga brings us to our true state of being, allowing us to live in a state of happiness, love and peace.
 
ABOUT QIGONG:
 
*Qigong is a system of meditation, in motion or in stillness. It draws and circulates Qi, the life force, into the body. In the process, the practice pours Love into the heart of the practitioner bringing about a feeling of well-being, harmony with one’s surroundings, and a feeling of divine contentment. One is able to truly enjoy life and experience a sense of ease even in the midst of challenges.
 
The postures and movements of the different forms have messages and mental images which are contemplated as they are being practiced. When practiced diligently and with sincerity, from within, one begins to find answers to the deepest questions in life.
 
In addition to the benefits of traditional Chinese Qigong such as healing, strengthening, and balancing the mind and body, QiGong transforms consciousness. Your sense of awareness is heightened and your instincts are sharpened. In time, it brings one to the experience of one's original nature, which is Love.
 
ABOUT MEDITATION:
 
There are various form of meditation and countless ways of meditating. Meditation is essentialloy the ability to be truly present in the moment, to be completely unified and centered body,mind and soul. It is in this place of true presence and wholeness that we are able to live in a state of bliss as we become aware of the uniqueness and gift of each new moment and experience unfloding infront of us. It is in this space that no fear, judgement of anxiety can reside. Meditation allows us to unload the subconscious mind and break down all limiting belief systems that cause us fear or stress and allows us to transform our patterns of thought and behaviour to our preference, allowing us to live lives that are more aligned to our true selves - again being peace and love.
