For once I would like Sandy to be on the receiving end so I am doing this raffle to raise money to contribute towards buying her a new fridge and a motor for the Dory boat, which does all the beach runs. It is going to cost me about R12 000 which is totally worth it considering these items will make the houseboat far more comfortable for EVERYONE.
A little background... My uncle built this houseboat with his own two hands 38 years ago. I was lucky enough to have him come in to my life 21 years ago when he married my wonderful aunt Sandy. Together they invested a lot of effort in to maintaining the houseboat so that people could enjoy the experience for many years to come.
I have been spending time on her since I was 6 years old so she holds a very special place in my heart. Since my uncles passing a few years back, Sandy has made it her life mission, come hell or high water, to hold on to the houseboat by keeping her in perfect nik and the only way to do that is to share the experience with others and use the money generated from that to invest back in to fixing her up. For those of you who have been, you will know that good old Sands pours her heart and soul in to that baby and no matter what challenges come her way, she soldiers on through. She is one of the most hospitable & generous person I know. Please help me to help her :) Muchos Gracias.
