Yes my friends, this is not a spelling mistake! This year we intend to take things further. More internationals, more bass, more style. We are extremely pleased to announce that none other than uk grime/dubstep jazz man SWINDLE will be here for one Cape town show only. We present you, in association with Ray-Ban, GOLD TURKEY!

Swindle has been highly regarded by Mala, who has already put out a couple of his EP's on DEEP MEDI MUZIK as well as announcing his forthcoming second album entitled 'Long Live The Jazz'.

"Introducing Swindle, a multi-talented musician and producer, hailing from South London who took a keen interest in music at a young age, learning to play the piano aged 8 and recording his own music by 13. Taking influence from Jazz, Reggae and Soul artists (including Miles Davis, Bob Marley and Stevie Wonder), Swindle focused his energies on making predominantly Grime and Hip Hop beats whilst attending college.
From 2007-2009 Swindle produced for the who’s who of the UK underground, names like Chipmunk, Professor Green, Asher D, Roll Deep and Roses Gabor, while making steps to break out as a producer fronting his own music after long being in the shadow of the massive artists he was working with. Linking up with Elijah & Skilliam as they started the Butterz label proved to be the turning point in 2010, as they pushed him to finally make the leap into the limelight.
The underground smash ‘Airmiles’ (released by Planet Mu) made a big impact on the club scene and pushed him to the forefront as a DJ at the same time. Playing sets that consist mainly of his own music he always leaves an individual stamp on ravers with his brand of jazzy Grime, Dubstep and UK Funky. In between that, expect exclusive sounds from his Butterz label mates such as Terror Danjah & Royal-T as well collaborations with heavy hitters Roska and Silkie. Swindle’s biggest tracks to date ‘Mood Swings’ (the video for which was an internet hit) released on Butterz, ‘Ignition’ Featuring Newham General Footsie and ‘Do The Jazz’ released on Deep Medi has solidified him as one of the great young prospects to shape the future of underground music in the UK." - Elastic Artists
