THE MAKABRA ENSEMBLE - HÄXAN Live Soundtrack Performance

Starting their cinematic / live music fusion at the South African HorrorFest Film Festival in 2006, The Makabra Ensemblecreates new original soundtracks to classic silent films and perform them live to the screen. Consisting of musicians from Terminatryx, Lark, V.O.D, Mr. Sakitumi, and violin genius Matthijs Van Dijk, they incorporate a wide range of acoustic and electronic instruments, methods and voice, to breathe new life into these legendary films. Live sound by Point Blanc Event Tech Solutions.  With 7 movies scored thus far, at the Sound On Screen Music Film Festival they will perform their soundtrack to the groundbreaking and visually amazing film HÄXAN (aka HEKSEN / THE WITCH)  - Sweden 1922. www.terminatryx.com/makabra
