ABOUT

Come and enjoy the delights of the festive Bernstein Chichester Psalms, beautiful and intriguing Prayers and Dances of Praise from Africa by our very own local composer Peter Klatzow and the serene and timeless Requiem by Gabriel Fauré

Soloists:
Soprano - Elizabeth Pyman
Counter Tenor - Clarence Anderson
Baritone - Emmanuel Pousse

The Choir will be singing under the baton of Richard Haigh, their Musical Director.  Mario Nell will be playing the magnificent Groote Kerk Organ, with Kobie du Plessis on Harp and Frank Mallows on Percussion.

The Groote Kerk in Cape Town is the building of the oldest serving congregation in South Africa. The majestic organ which was consecrated in 1957, is the largest in South Africa. The choir was honoured to participate in the celebrations of its 350th Anniversary in 2015.
