Kagiso Lediga has certainly earned his right to be called a South African comedy legend. For over a DECADE - this multi talented comedian has entertained audiences in the live space, on the small screen, on the big screen and also now from behind the screen producing some of the most groundbreaking comedy content this country has ever seen. (HELLO. The Bantu Hour- SATURDAY 21:00 SABC 2) He is a natural storyteller with an enigmatic comedy style that blends schoolboy charm with creative genius, sharp intelligence & wit. Kagiso together with co-executive producer Loyiso Gola – put together the satirical news show – Late Nite News with Loyiso Gola on etv & the eNews Channel. 2 years later – this show can only be described as a groundbreaking success with Kagiso now also directing the show. Testament to that, it was recently nominated for an International Emmy Award - there is no greater honour in television worldwide. A truly remarkable achievement. We could go on for days. SO. Fast becoming SA’s most popular female comedian, Nina is a regular on SA TV (Late Night News with Loyiso, Next of Next Week, 10 over 10, The Bantu Hour) and radio (CliffCentral, Sa FM, Mix FM, Jacaranda FM, Metro FM and more. Having been a voice artist for over 15 years, Nina is a stalwart of this entertainment industry having voiced for over 50 brands, as well as animated feature films, and animated series.
Host for the night is Durban local Liam E Johns The Comedian. With years of experience in the comedy scene, this man is no stranger to making even the most cynical of humans cry with laughter.
