The Business Book Club is an after work event that encourages dynamic peer-to-peer discussion. Whether you’re a CEO, MD, Business Owner, Entrepreneur or ambitious professional, we'd like to meet you.Through thought-provoking book choices and their compelling ideas, Jacques and Joni encourage teams and individuals to immediately grab ahold of the ideas that apply to their business and make them happen. The Business Book Club is a wonderful catalyst for building unique and powerful connections. Join us at 18:00 for light refreshments and networking. The discussion runs from 18:30 - 19:30 followed by informal networking.

About Jacques
Jacques Velleman is a business coach and the owner of Ukuzwa, a company which is passionate about helping companies succeed by driving the behaviour of their people. The advantage that Jacques offers is his financial background, while affecting behavioural change, he doesn’t neglect the numbers. In this way Ukuzwa brings people and profit together – a formula for success.
Jacques has over 15 years of business experience. He has held the positions of Financial Director and Business Executive, responsible for IT, HR, Finance and Admin. He has also been involved with Sales and Marketing, founding and heading a team of professionals for a medium sized consulting firm.
Jacques has completed various coaching courses and is a member of Gazelles, an International Coaching organisation and is also an active member of Toastmasters International.
About Joni
Joni Peddie is passionate about developing people. She finds an amazing amount energy around people who really want growth and development. With 'can do' attitude she relentlessly drives the business to improve and innovate at every opportunity and deliver on the client's expectations.
Joni consults to and facilitates training workshops for leading Blue Chip companies (both FMCG and service sectors). In addition, Joni has a successful track record of coaching clients for major business pitches, high-level media presentations and product launches. Joni is also a key note speaker and member of the National Speaker Association.
Joni uses the OutComm® facilitation process to achieve results that are guaranteed to make a difference. Joni is also founding member of the Enneagram Institute of Johannesburg, a non-profit institute established providing guidance and training on the Enneagram for self-development and growth.
